At Sage and Grace Realty Group, we believe in shining a light in our community. We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our first annual Smasherson Gift Drive, dedicated to supporting children battling cancer in our local area.
Join Us in Making a Difference - We invite you to join us in this heartfelt initiative by donating a toy, craft, or gift card for a local child undergoing cancer treatment. Your generosity can bring joy and hope to these young warriors.
How to Contribute - Gift Donations: Contact your Sage and Grace Realty agent to arrange a pickup or mailing for any new children’s gift or gift card donations. Inspirational or motivational handmade cards for the children are also appreciated.
You can order gifts or gift cards directly from the Sage and Grace Smasherson Amazon Registry and have them shipped directly to us. Sage and Grace agents will collect gifts and cards, and we’ll collaborate with Smasherson to deliver them to the children. Shop gift donation ideas >> https://tinyurl.com/SG-SMASH
The Impact of Your Gift - Children undergoing local cancer treatment receive a Radiation Countdown Calendar. These calendars, similar to holiday Advent calendars, provide a small gift after each radiation session, making treatment more manageable.
Smasherson Foundation prioritizes Radiation Countdown Calendars, delivering over 200 customized calendars to date, thanks to partnerships with CHOA and Emory Winship Cancer Institute. Feedback from doctors and nurses underscores the impact: these calendars motivate children to continue their treatment and maintain a positive outlook, which can be life-saving!
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
Let's unite to show our support. Any gift item for girls or boys, aged 0-18 years, priced between $5 to $20 works. Ideas: arts and crafts supplies, stuffed animals, family games, pajamas and slippers, books, or gift cards. Preferred gift cards are Visa, Amazon, Target, and Chick Fil A. All gifts are welcome and appreciated and will be matched with the appropriate child.
Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of these brave children and their families. Thank you for your generosity and support. SHOP OUR AMAZON REGISTRY >>
Daily radiation means a daily present from Smasherson! The kiddos love their treatment gift. Each gift is curated for them. The radiation countdown calendar helps them cope with their fear of radiation.
The founders of the Smasherson Foundation lost their daughter, Emerson, to brain cancer. During treatment, they referred to her tumor as a squishy ball to smash and get rid of. As they talked about smashing that ball, the term Smasherson was born. It was a fitting name for her fighting spirit and their foundation, launched in 2020 in her honor. The foundation’s mission is to fund innovative research for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Neuro-Oncology’s team and provide financial and emotional support to children and families of pediatric cancers.
